Meet the CEO: Victor Hollingsworth

Victor Hollingsworth is the president and CEO of Speed Monkey Studios & Evangeline Films. He is an award-winning filmmaker and character actor.

Prior to entering the film world, Hollingsworth was a journalist -- first in print and then in digital. His career included positions at The Sun-Herald, Nashville Banner and Charlotte Observer newspapers, followed by a 15-year stint at CNN Digital in Atlanta.

He was named Best Actor in the 2020 Nashville 48 Hour Film Project competition for his film "Clearing." He was awarded the same honor in 2015's Nashville 54 Hour Film Fest for his lead role in "The Family Keel," which he co-wrote.

Hollingsworth was trained at the Nashville Acting Studio and studied improvisation at Emory University in Atlanta.
